On the three year anniversary of the chokehold murder of Eric Garner in Staten Island, the Coalition reiterated our demand that no one be arrested, prosecuted or summonsed (civil or criminally) for fare evasion.

Coalition to End Broken Windows Says NO To Body Cams For Police 

April 18th, 2017 (New York, NY) – As contentious debate around Broken Windows policing has reignited across the city, buoyed by the realization that low-level enforcement puts immigrants at risk of deportation, the Coalition to End Broken Windows is putting forward a clear, unequivocal call to NOT allow the New York City Police Department to equip its officers with body-worn cameras.
